2. Leather leggings
Leather leggings (or faux leather for the animal-friendly folks) will only be garnering more followers. If you are coveting a pair from Balenciaga or The Row, but would rather spend all that money elsewhere, trusty American Apparel has a fantastic pair for much less.

3. Oxford pumps
Oxford pumps aren’t losing their cool anytime soon. Masters like Bottega Veneta and Chloe insist upon it! Round-toe ankle boots are all the rage this fall, so incorporate that trend into the selection of your oxford pump. Although these are a bit pricier, the Jeffrey Campbell oxfords have a 2’ heel, which is tough to score these days, and are made of genuine materials. And your feet will thank you.

4. ‘Boyfriend’ jeans
The pros at Current/Elliott and Prps are enjoying fast success in marketing “guys” jeans for the girls. Try a cuffed pair with flats. I prefer the super soft guy’s pair at American Eagle – they really are my boyfriend’s jeans!

5. Biker Jackets
Chic grunge is back with a bang! Our favorite style setters have been proudly sporting their Balenciaga biker jackets for awhile now, but the balance between feminine florals and masculine black leather pieces is perhaps the greatest single trend for autumn and winter. This Mossimo one is the absolute fiercest biker jacket newly on the bargain hunter racks, and it feels very similar to real leather. Its collar is even somewhat similar to Rick Owens’! Who can argue with quality design at this price?
