Anna Sui

Anna Sui’s Spring 2009 RTW collection is definitely for the eclectic and adventurous; for the world-traveler in all of us. The collection’s use of charming ethnically-inspired prints and silhouettes brought an extremely refreshing burst of color, culture, and joie de vivre to the runway this year.
Sui’s accessories – from big vibrant bags to studded gladiators, and embroidered boots to beautiful statement necklaces – were bold and delightful. The collection’s joyful celebration of the folkloric was an absolute pleasure. The colorful dresses, skirts, and peasant tops all reflected a very happy and optimistic mood.
