Topshop coming to New York!

Topshop will soon join the ranks of fast-fashion stores such as H&M and Zara. It has cited October 8, 2008 as its launch date for its New York store (at Broadway & Broome in SoHo). Intended to be its flagship store in the United States, Topshop will soon open its doors and shoppers will be able to roam all 50,000-60,000 sq. feet of it. As its Oxford Circus location in London ranks as the world’s largest retail space, Topshop will undoubtedly provide an enormous selection at affordable prices.

A favorite of celebrities, such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Gwyenth Paltrow, Topshop distinguishes itself among other fast-fashion chains by the quality of its clothing. A bit pricier than Zara and H&M, Topshop operates with high turnover rates- sometimes receiving up to three inventory deliveries a day- and enormously popular collections by designers and celebrities, such as Kate Moss (who is releasing another Topshop collection this fall).

  1. FYI, I am from uk, also lived london for 7 years. Zara is more expensive actually, and H & M is about the same over there. Dont know if they’ll change that when it lands here.. Im not sure if they’ll encompass the guys “TOPMAN” into it… Finally, maybe a chance for hipsters girls to try something different than american apparel, cheap monday jeans and anything else they all wear!!!!! Maybe….
